The business-class TeraStation 5200DS NAS supports Axis Communication’s “Axis Camera Companion” (ACC) video surveillance software. This TeraStation can be combined with Axis-compatible IP cameras to create a networked video surveillance solution running up to 16 cameras, simply and easily. Video data taken with the cameras can be stored on the TeraStation and viewed from computers and mobile devices with the monitoring software installed. The TeraStation features extremely dependable hard drives that are perfectly suited for long hours of operation, making it an optimal NAS for storing recorded video data from surveillance cameras. The TeraStation 5200DS is designed to prevent excessive internal temperatures, with a chassis that promotes better airflow and use of double ball bearings in the fan for quieter operation. An internal temperature monitor also regulates the fan speed automatically, providing quiet yet powerful cooling performance.
