LEDs indicate establishment of Gigabit link

The LED lights when a link is established with another device.The LEDs turn green when a Gigabit connection is established and orange when a 100-Mbps link is confirmed.These indicators allow you to check the status of each port's connection at a glance.

The BS-POE-G21M is compatible with Jumbo Frames,larger Ethernet data packets used to increase the efficiency of transfers over netoworks.This enables fuller utilization of Gigabit transmissions in achieving high-speed transfers.*Jumbo Frames:9,216bytes

Supports Variety of Authentication Functions Permitting Only Authorized Users to Connect

The BS-POE-G21M supports IEEE 802.1X/EAP authentication,which when used with a RADIUS server allows only users with proper access to connect to the network.
Also supported are Web authentication and MAC address authentication requiring no supplicant.

A Variety of Qos (Quality of Service)Functions to Control Signal Priority

Today's office networks carry a mix of widely differing applications,necessitating various QoS functins to distinguish the relative importance of the transmissions.The BS-POE-G21M provides four levels of QoS based on the IEEE 802.1 standard,while also supporting DSCP/IP Precedence.These functions can be used to suit any particular need.

Reduce Energy Consumption with Low Power Idle Mode

In addition to the energy-saving adjustments based on link status and cable length,the Low Power ldle mode cuts energy consumption at times when there is no data being transmitted.Use of Power ldle mode can cut energy consumption up to 29% when all ports are in use,and up to 38% when no ports are in use.
